Chief Information Officer - Solutions and Partners (CIO-SP2i)

The National Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC), an agency of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), has signed contracts with several companies, including CSC, to provide the full spectrum of information technology services and products to NIH and other civilian federal agencies.

The innovative form of the $19.5 billion program allows federal government agencies to purchase services and products without having to undertake the lengthy procurement steps of the past.

Known as Chief Information Officer - Solutions and Partners (CIO-SP2i), the program covers the purchase of hardware, software, systems and services. It includes Chief Information Officer (CIO) Support; Outsourcing; IT Operations and Maintenance; Integration Services; Critical Infrastructure Protection and Information Assurance; Digital Government; Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP); Clinical Support, Research and Studies; and Software Development. This ten-year contract will allow CSC and the other contractors to provide uniform information technology solutions across the entire span of the federal government.
