DNMSS-G/NEC
In June 1999, CSC won and began work on the replacement for DSN, in the form of the Network Engineering Contract for Defense Network Management Support Services-Global (DNMSS-G/NEC). The new program consolidates CSC's DSN and Wang's Integrated Network Management System (INMS) contracts.
The five-year $400 million contract provides DOD with management, planning, operations, and billing support for its voice and data networks, including the following Red and Black networks: Defense Switched Network (DSN), Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN), Global Command and Control System (GCCS), Global Combat Support System (GCSS), Unclassified but Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet), and Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet).
