Justice Consolidated Office Network (JCON)

The Justice Consolidated Office Network (JCON) contract provides the U.S. Department of Justice's offices nationwide with a common, integrated set of hardware and software, as well as system installation, training and support. CSC won the seven-year, $500 million contract to design, implement and manage the program in March 1996.

The contract brings uniform office automation to the U.S. Attorney General's office, the 93 U.S. Attorney offices, the six litigating divisions, the U.S. Marshals Service and other Justice agencies. The contract provides commercial off-the-shelf Windows-based hardware and office automation software in a client-server environment that ensures the integrity of critical data.

The system will allows personnel across the country to communicate with each other and retrieve information quickly and easily, resulting in better law enforcement and litigation service to the public.
