Safeguard
Presidential Decision Directive (PDD-63) calls for a national effort to
assure the security of increasingly vulnerable interconnected public and
private infrastructures of the United States.
The
FTS Safeguard Program is
a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) that was created by the Office of
Information Security (OIS) of the General Services Administration, Federal
Technology Service (GSA, FTS). The intent of the Safeguard Program is to
provide a full range of professional services and unique products necessary
for strengthening the nation's defenses against unconventional threats to
the U.S. including terrorist attacks, attacks on our critical
infrastructure, and cyber attacks. The Safeguard Program incorporates all of
the provisions of CSC's GSA FSS Schedule, and is available to all
Federal Government Agencies.
