CSC offers federal agencies a variety of services and products through both indefinite delivery/ indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) and other government contracts. Some of our Non-ID/IQ contracts are listed here.

Defense Switched Network (DSN)

DSN is the Department of Defense's global communications system, which CSC helped mold into a single, integrated telephone system, with voice, data and video capabilities. CSC now manages and operates the system using state-of-the-art network management tools.

Government Emergency Telecommunications Service (GETS) & Wireless Priority Service (WPS)

GETS and WPS provide national security and emergency preparedness (NS/EP) personnel a higher probability of nationwide wireline (GETS) and/or cellular (WPS) telephone call completion during times of crisis or emergency when there is congestion in the public switch telephone network (PSTN) due to high traffic volume and/or network disruption.

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Weather Wire Service (NWWS)

CSC designed, built and maintains NOAA’s satellite-based emergency weather news service, providing the latest information to state and federal emergency management services; radio, television, and cable stations; and other commercial and government institutions concerned with public safety.
